Today, (4/6/2002) was the first day we saw Austin really open his eyes for more than a few seconds. I think he is taking his first look around him.

Austin is under some lights to treat him for jaundice, which is very common in babies born at 32 weeks.

Last night was the first time Carolyn was able to go to the NICU to see Austin. The calmest Austin has been was while Carolyn was holding him.
